David Wills and Associates were approached to provide the Civil and Structural design for numerous fuel stations around various locations in Western Australia.

DWA designed the fuel stations with the view to optimising member sizes and labour resources required on site. These two factors resulted in significant savings for our clients in terms of construction costs and decreased operating construction shutdown periods.

The structural design for each station involved the design of the fuel station shop and car fuel pump canopy. At some locations truck refuelling canopies were designed.

The civil design for each station involved the stormwater drainage and storage design to the Local Council and client specifications. At some station locations, DWA designed a turning lane to allow safe access to each site. This involved an extensive liaison process with either Main Roads WA or the Local Authority depending on the site’s location.
